Seller's Comments and Description:
Bought a Kenwood TS830S in mint condition from Tassie, he even dropped to me on the hume highway where i couldnt test it in anyway, but hey, hams always do the right thing.
well surprise surprise, mint means no Tx.
I have replied to unsatisfactory replies from the seller, to quote him, get this "hes not a happy camper" unreal..... so watch me lose a bundle of money on this and not even name the person as I respect Allans site policies too much.
The 830S cosmetically is aok, so if you are in the mood to fix a very difficult radio to find, Im feeling ripped off to the tune of, well a little under a $1000, but ring or email me, we will discuss a price and I just want to forget the faith I put in Hams because of this for a little while and meditate on a small island. I have a spare set of valves I will supply out in the barn so happy to include with the deal.
In short, my stupid loss trusting the whole world is honest is your gain.
Whoever buys it gets a bargain, I am just past fixing other peoples problems, described as so so good. Someone in a better frame of mind and not just been through 2 surgeries in the last week seems much more practical.
